What a camp.....AWESOME+COOL

Aaahhhhh *Sound of relaxation* , finally I am back at home, enjoying every moment with my family. The feeling of being home after 2 months made me misses home the more. Sounds of brothers fighting, of sister’s shouting, wow….those are some of the noises that I longed to hear, and now I get to hear it again not for a day, not for a week, but for 5 whole months…LOL…..:))

Just came back from camp 3 days ago, and I am still feeling the after effects of it. Tiredness, dehydration, and numbness of limbs…these are just the minor effects that were brought back. The major ones includes missing of campsite (emo feel), missing of the people (another emo feel), and a lot others.

The camp was held for duration of 4 days and 3 nights in Penang, and the campsite is called Christian Conversion Centre (CCC). It is situated in Batu Feringghi, and 1.5 stone throw away from “The Ship”..(Don’t know where that is? Ask the Penang-ites).

Total number of campers : 110

Theme of the camp : The Two Campuses (Sounds like The Two Towers?)

Activities held : Discussed below

Feelings after camp : AweSome, joyous, and all other suitable adjectives (can we have it once every semester? =P )

Number of groups(clans) : 10 (Elvish names for characters in Bible. Mine was named after Rahab *Amaurea* )

Accommodation : Dormitories (20 people each room =P, some got more)

Well, I am not about to write a journal or a diary jotting down all that I do in camp, but the activities held are (if I didn’t missed out anything):

Beach activities – Finding eggs buried in sand – painting friend’s face with some-blue-stuffs – passing flour on plate with mouth

Night session – Finding life partners – Pastor Michelle shared the word – was blessed in the end – several people couldn’t stay the entire session, either they were “fishing” or just static on someone’s shoulder :P – my first time hearing such a message

Morning devotion – All sleepy face – materials were good and inspiring – learned a lot for 3 days – shared my experiences, learned a lot from others too -

Food were nice – had 3 meals per day(not including teatime) – some tables had not enough food, that the “eaters” began “taxing” other tables for more – all in all, food were nice …LOL..

Team Building – Lord of the 2 Campuses – Tolkien aka JiaWern reborned – Had tonnes of fun and laughter – From clans to trading to slaves to auction to upgrades to quest – AWESOME TIME!!!!! – whacked up the game masters (Nazguls) properly, and slaughtered King Sauron (Ken) with newspapers - Frodo(Jonathan) and Her-Royal-Highness Queen Andrea Goodbody live happily ever after

Captain ball + football – male bonding session, though some females joined captain ball – wonderful time seeing the ball got kicked to and fro – Didn’t know there were the likes of David Beckham and Rooney in CF – a few injuries took place – had an awesome time for 3 days on the field – really enjoyable.

Night session – What if I stumble, what if I fall – Pastor Andrew enlightens us – Pastor shared some of his testimonies – a few of us were baptized in the holy spirit that night – had powerful prayer session – awesome power of God moving – went supper after that :P

Worship and prayer – awesome – had a fun time worshipping The Lord – not bounded by anybody

Free time – chatted like there’s no tomorrow – gathering of people in different corners – played dodge ball – played Mafia - fellowship of Malaccans and Cyberians – SleEp

Afternoon forum – group acting and discussion – regarding life partners and self control over some issues – Pastor Joanne led the session – had fun and laughter – learned alot

Treasure hunting – thanks Weeliem, CheeKah, and Lilian who organized – went along the streets of Penang – boundaries were Flintstone and Voyager – had fun trying out the clues – went and bought butter instead of Tongkat Ali =P – went in several hotels like a raiding party – took picture of the highest peak along the street (Eden) – looking out for mole aka traitor – brought back trash starting from A-Z – had fun

Camp fire – there’s no fire – clan leaders rode on “toilet bowls” (chairs) like horse -10 clans showcased their performance – had a good laugh and some had stomach cramps laughing their heads off – prize giving for treasure hunt

Autograph session, reflection, wrapping up and handing over – held during last day – people from Malacca who are going Cyberjaya were given proper handover – graduating students who are leaving were prayed for – mission trip people were being prayed for as well – it was the time of saying goodbye and farewell – bus supposed to leave at 3.30PM back KL and Ipoh, but leave instead at 6.40PM

The above mentioned activities are held for the span of 4 days in Penang, and I hope I didn’t miss anything else. Do let me know by dropping a comment if I have missed anything or anybody out, I think this camp had achieved its objective. There were intense fellowship, and even first year student were seen mixing with final year students as if they were long time buddies. Pictures will be made available soon.

So camp’s over. I will just sit back at home and enjoy, while waiting for my internship to begin on June. Stay tune for more updates

It's over, camp's coming....

Hey ya peeps, whasssuppppp?? I’ve been missing from here for some time already. And I donno if any of you know the reason, hehe….if you do not know, read on and find out. Even if you know, read on and get entertained. Lol….

Final examination is finally over, and I get to breathe in freshness again. Through out the past few weeks, I have had my head buried under piles of books, and tonnes of papers. It had been a hectic and tiring month for me , as I’ve had projects to complete, assignments to pass up, meetings to attend, and a lot of other miscellaneous stuffs. Been undergoing intense pressure day by day, and surely I am so glad that it had ended. Months of preparation, days of not having enough sleep, finally pay off. Now my third semester is finally over, and I am entering into my third and final year in MMU. Days passed by so fast, and to think back the times I had during my foundation studies, is as if it had happened yesterday. Hmmm, will blog more into it soon.

Now that everything is over (for now),I am packing up to go for camp, YEA!!! I like camps, especially those that is organized by friends, and which is held far far away. I’ve been looking forward to this camp, since I came back from the same camp last year. It’s the Inter-fellowship (IF) camp jointly organized by CFMMU Cyberjaya (Christian fellowship of Multimedia University) and MMUCF Malacca. It is going to be at CCC Penang, and for 4 whole days, there’s going to be loads of fun and laughter and fellowship going on. As I am typing this out, the clock is ticking, and departure time to penang is 5 hours away, WOOHoo……Yea….See you people in four days time. Updates will be posted, ermmm, when I am free..=P Cya

MMU, Bye bye till second semester…………Penang, here I come……….=P
