9th of January

Here I am waiting
Abide in me I pray
Here I am longing
For You
Hide me in Your love
Bring me to my knees
May I know Jesus
More and more

Come live in me
All my life
Take over
Come breathe in me
I will rise
On eagles wings

Onthe 9th day of the New Year, I can’t stop singing this song. Written by an individual of the Hillsong’s Worship Ministry, this song speaks of waiting upon God, and to soar on Eagle’s Wing. As the New Year comes by, many times I sat back and thought of the things yet to be fulfilled. I thought of my life in 5 years time. I thought of my future career; I thought of the friends I have, whether they will continue to be my friend in the near future… but when ever I listen to this song, my heart will be assured with the things of God, how He will take care of my future, how He will help me. This song gave me a new hope, a renewed mind, and a wanting that only God can fulfill. Life is more then just grumbling and worrying about what will happen.

Final exams are approaching, with less then 72 hours from the time of posting, with >60% left to cover, Wish me luck :P

On the lighter note, today is someone’s 21st birthday. WooHoo… Happy Birthday to you. May your life be filled with hope, joy and peace always…God bless you in all that you do.

A blessed New Year... Happy 2006

The old year had passed, the New Year had come
There are many things, which we could sum
From love to life to friends to what I’ve become
Things certainly will change, I’ll not be numb

2006 brings with it joy and peace
I started this year with a feast
Going to church and to have my faith increased
2006 is certainly a year to be.

Goodbye 2005, welcome 2006
The year passes by, just like a flick
I still remember, how I used to mix
Right and wrong, it’s hard to predict

I’m not sure what I am writing
Whether this poem rhymes well and/or exciting
But one thing I can delight in
2006, here I come with fire igniting

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
