Busy day 2

** Continuation from last post, Busy day 1 **

After the much needed sleep I needed ( 4 hours in 1.5 days), I woke up again at 9 AM to prepare for the booth preparation. Basically I was at the booth from 9.20AM till about 5PM that day, and somehow got to experienced the joy and the fun of being a persuader. It is a charity drive, organized by the Cyber Christmas team, and there are 3 orphanages to chose from when adopting a gift. Each person will adopt a gift worth RM20 to a kid from each of the homes, and also got to write a personalized message wishing them well. They are also given the privilege of visiting the homes and giving the gift to the child personally. It is an event, where we bless the orphans during Christmas, and to share our joy with them. The response were very good, and in just 3 days, 105 gifts were ‘adopted’ by our kind MMU students, out of the 111 gifts initial target. We just prayed that God will bless those who gave, and will bless them with even more then what they asked for.

Reached home around 5.20PM, and I thought that was the end of my hectic day, with plenty of tie to sleep till Saturday. As soon as I got back to my house, with barely 10 minute to rest, I got a called from my director, asking to meet me to discuss some stuffs regarding MCGF. Well, I agreed to the meeting (which showed how committed I am…:P) and went down to the café to meet him. I knew more about MGDC and also MCGF after a 1.5 hour talk with him and the president of MGDC. I am really thankful for being chosen as a committee, and I will work to my best ability as to not let my director down and lose trust in me.

After the meet up, we went over to campus to meet a friend, and had dinner there as well, and 1 hour later, we went over to the games lab for the continuation of the MMU close games tournament. Unfortunately, being a super cranky and somewhat ‘irresponsible’ lab assistant, who is supposed to open the lab and to monitor the lab’s usage, didn’t turned up for the event, and at such, the tournament venue was changed to be in one of the MGDC committee’s house. I wasn’t there to witnessed the event, as I really have to get back to deserved a good rest, which I did in 3 hours at least. Hmmmm…………

I then went over to my director’s house supposedly because of food, as one of my housemates prepared food for them. Ad ended up staying there till about 5 in the morning, from 1.30AM. we had a long talk, and I got to know him better, and it was indeed an enlightened and fruitful talk, as I marveled at his experience and his skills. Later we watched Lord of the Ring - Return Of The King, and it somewhat brought back some sweet memories the first time I saw it in the theaters. We went back home at 5PM, and headed back to bed till 9.30AM on a bright and sunny Saturday morning.

It had been a super-very-downright-extremely busy days for me and I got to experienced fun and new stuffs, and oh, now I remembered, I have 1 test and 1 assignment due next week. There goes my weekends to enjoyed, and hope I will pass my papers.

CHEERS to all… ^-^ !!!!

Busy day 1

Hi Guys n Gurls, its been 3-4 days since I last posted, due to the fact that I am a busy man(NOT) and also partly because of my hectic schedule and a lazy spirit……well, I had been through a lot these days, and I would like to share it out here….:D

Had a pretty eventful day on Thursday, where my day started at 9AM, and ended around the next day 4.30AM. it’s been almost 20 hours I have stayed up in campus, with 30- minutes back home to change and bathe. Well, had classes from 11 in the morning, and ended at 4PM. Went over with a friend to get smartcard, and they had to wait about 2 weeks to get theirs done, where as during my Alpha year when I took mine, I did it all in one day, and I even complaint that is slow. Imagine waiting inline at 8AM, and getting your smart card at 5.30PM the same day, and considering I was one of the early birds there, hmmm, I thought they must be a problem, but then again to think of this years batch who took smartcard, I was one of the super lucky ones to be able to get it done in one day.:D

Had a quick shower around 6.30 when I got back home after the errand, and called up a friend for dinner. It was pretty much a fruitful session we had together, as we got to know each other better, and somehow we are able to relate to one another. The ‘makan-ing’ time took almost 2 hours, and we adjourned for the MMU close tournament in one of the labs after we were filled with food. Its an event organized by the Malaysian Games Developers Club (MGDC), and the event is Malaysian Computer Games Festival (MCGF), which resembles the World Cyber-Games (WCG) in Korea. They had Need-For-Speed Finals and also Gun-bound semi Final competition that night, and it was quite a challenging event to see. Stakes were high during the finals, where a Malay guy battled it out to first place from a Chinese guy, and it was like, 6 laps in 15 minutes. WOW…I couldn’t do that even in 1 hour, hahaha…..

Soon after at 11PM, we had an emergency meet up with the MCGF chairperson and co-chairperson, and the meeting was called to order at 11.45, and adjourned at 4.30 AM the next morning. It was a heart tormenting, blood-steaming, and emotions flowing kind of meeting, with everybody talking good/bad about everybody, and what I themed as ‘getting-to-know-what-i-am’ meeting. It was the longest meeting I have ever attended, and somehow I learned a lot, and experienced something new. Been darn tired after the meeting, and headed to bed straight away after I stepped into home, without even changing nor washing up. That best described the tiredness that I was in, and be prepared for the next entry, going to be mind boggling as one would asked ‘How he managed to do it?’

Stay tuned…..

Thank You, Lord

The sun shines and flowers bloom
But still my life do looked gloom
I thought of my path
I thought of my way
I even thought of the things
That made me astray

I have been trying to find
The things that I have been looking for
In the end, everything is fine
Through the Lord, I got it all

Many things come and go
But God’s grace always will flow
To make my life keeps on to glow
For the glory and honor of Him to show

For all the mistakes I had done
You are there to make it un-done
I am so thankful for you, O God
For I can call you Father, and Lord

Thank You Lord You have been there
To see me through, and always will bear
My sins, my shame and my wares
Without You, I would not even stare
At your mercy and love that flares

Thank You Lord…

*A poem of thanksgiving after CF yesterday night...*

Prayer Walk

“And he ordered the people, Advance, March around the city, with the armed guards going ahead the ark of the Lord”. Joshua 6:7

That’s what the CF did yesterday. Instead of the usual bible session and discussion, we had a prayer walk, which its name implied, pray as you walk around the campus. This is done for the second time (as far as I am here), and it was indeed a enjoyable moment for al of us who attended. This was done unlike previous years, where each CG is supposed to go to various destination around campus to pray, but instead this time around, 2 CGs’ are being sent out to pray for a particular spot, and we are expected to pray for anything at all that comes to mind, be it the lecturers, building, or the facilities. My CG combined with THIRST CG to make up our former OHANA, and being sent out together with F.O.C CG, led by Jia Wern. Our place to pray for is around FCM building, FOE/FIT , and also STAD building. Both CGs’ didn’t go together, instead, we set of first and I being teamed up with Kevin, headed off to FCM building, and started to pray in a top-down fashion.

As I walked along the corridors of FCM building, I managed to looked at the rooms, and also the facilities in the building, and I started to pray as I walked. it was a wonderful sight to see, as I had not been to the top floor of FCM , let alone it is during the night some more. And as I walked, I sense a presence of joy, as I prayed, and met up with my praying partner, and we headed one floor down and continued our journey. Soon not long ago, I passed by Professor Dr Chacko’s office, and noticed he’s in the room. Immediately I stopped at the doorstep, and prayed for him. I thank God for Prof Chacko as he had let us use his apartment for CG meetings for 2 years already, and it had been a great blessing for OHANA CG, and now SEED CG. I really thank God he had been gracious to us, and had been faithful. We walked around FCM building for about 30 minutes, and FCM café being our last prayer venue. I thank God for the food, and also the staffs there. I noticed one of my good friend is having meeting there, and indeed, it is a blessing in disguise, as I got to meet this friend, whom I have just knew recently, by picking FCM building as our place of prayer, hehehe..Thank God for that…: D

We headed back to CF room, and prayed together as a CG. It was a heartwarming occasion, as OHANA got to sit together again, to pray in unison for each and everyone, plus the meetings and gathering that we are going to have. Its great to see all of our former members praying together, and its something like a re-union gathering. We chatted, and had fun talking with each other after the prayer, then came the interesting part of it. Each CG is supposed to send its leader to share bout the prayer that was done in each locations, and the observation of the members on the place, and people. Many things were prayed for, including the sprinkler system, the lifts, the tiles and ceiling, the lecturers, the trees, the food, and basically everything in campus. Some went on to say that they want God to move between each corridor, and to touch every people on campus.. Then Desmond mentioned for us to pray for Cyber Christmas, and to thank God for doing everything to make sure the planning stage runs smoothly. Before this some committee came up and share about the problems faced, and a brother came up and share about his FMD trip, about how FMD people had approve the papers one day before our ‘adopt –a-gift’ booth, that is the approval of the tables, and chairs. We prayed, and then the meeting was adjourned at 10.30PM.

Truly God had been moving in campus, and we should now be more responsive to His calling for us to go out to the harvest field, and sow seeds of righteousness. This is indeed a much anticipated event, as it had been very meaningful throughout. Some of us stayed back for supper after CF, while some of us went back straight to our respective homes to study as some are having exams.( that’s me J)

Having exams tonight (Wednesday night) so better get back to studies…..catch ya people later. God Bless…J

Life just goes on.......

I’ve been wanting to have you so much
That i put my life in the marsh
Slowly and slowly i am beginning to break
without you life is so hard to take

God, You have heard my cry
And seen me with your eye
Truly and firmly you will be my joy
Life is just so fun when its not a toy

Life goes on
Even when i am down
Even when i frown
And even when i turn brown
because of all that had happened
i learned the way from my past experience

Perspective changed, views differ
but i chose to stay and deliver
My best and my desire
To everyone who are really on fire

Life is like a playground
Fun, colorful and have varieties
I just wondered deep when I am down
Is life going to stay as it is
Or to be change, when deemed fit

Long ago I wished upon a star
That I may be like you afar
With so much to see, and so much to do
Now I wondered, is it all true

Life’s journey is for us to learn
Challenges and tribulations are hard to discern
But once you are in it, , you will have got it
The splendor and the significance
Of life’s little treasures

So many things to be realized
and so few that can be visualize
trials, temptation, and many more alike
I just thought of my life
That somehow always in a fry

Life goes on
Easy to say, but not easy to do
Till the day that you are strong
Jowen, run the race and God bless You….

Life goes on………..

*sudden rush of inspiration on Sunday morning, 11AM*
*Dedicated to myself, and to those who are feeling down, depressed and the like*
*Life goes on…….…….... Life goes on….….….…... Life goes on………..……*

A day of life

Tired, exhausted, depressed are just some of the feelings I am having now, today. Things had been happening at a very fast pace, til;l I do not have time to comprehend the challenges head. Meetings after meetings, assignments to do, with so much to do, and so little accomplishment, I am beginning to loose focus on life. I had not been thinking rationally these days, and always feeling down recently.

Well, but today is a fruitful day for me. I woke up at 9AM, with the purpose of studying, and well, I did managed to read the first few slides, and I am off to a gaming session, hosted by my housemates on LAN. Hehehe, pretty cool huh the way I started my day, well anyway, had Cyber Christmas prayer meeting supposedly at 11.30AM, but due to some foreseen circumstances, it only started half and hour later. Hmmm, speaking about Malaysian timing over here……….

Then later, I had lunch with one of my friend in the cafeteria, and we talked and talked about stuffs , and at the end of the lunch meet, we got to know each other better. I thank God for this particular friendship, and am really blessed with this friend. We chatted about ways of life, and somehow, this stirs up my interest to study deeper into psychology. Based on my friends observation in life, it seemed that everyone of us are living in a mind-hole system, whereby we are locked up in our own thinking, and this somewhat produces a gap between our thinking and the way other people of the world thinks. I thought of the term ‘close-world-assumption’, and we can all relate to that. We only think in one perspective, and didn’t think of others. It somehow made me pondered upon my lifestyle as well. Many a times, I just assumed things and didn’t bother to find out the actual truth, and I always based my assumption upon the past. I felt that if the person is naughty last time, he will always be that way, even though he/she might have changed. After listening to what my friend said, I began to change the way I used to think already. I shouldn’t just think one sided, and I should think out of the box. Great talk we had, and we mentioned also about the mindset of the people here in this country compared to those who are from overseas. We are somewhat conservative in our thinking, and may be because we are brought up differently, and never think the way the westerners think. We brought up many interesting topics about life, and we had a 2 hours lunch just eating and chit-chatting.

I reached back home around 3.45PM, and started to work on my assignment. Man, I can’t seemed to get things done at the right time and place, I did it halfway, and snoozed off after that. Woke up again 2 hours later to continue doing assignment, and went out for dinner with my parents. What a wonderful reunion…J

Many things had happened today, and I would like to pay tribute to the friend who accompany me for lunch ( if you are reading this, Thank You ), and for all the lively talk and wonderful words of wisdom. Just like to penned down a poem before I leave, and to You my friend, thank You again

Though I know you not long ago
But you have made me wiser and bold
In terms of thinking plus reasoning as a whole
Thank you friend, for making me so….

God bless you, dear readers of my blog, and may life be beautiful as ever…:D

The Season of S.T.R.E.S.S

The time has come once again for MMU Students ( I being one of the unfortunate) to crack their heads as well as to sacrifice gaming and sleep for war, war of exams. Yes, it is te time of our Mid-term examination, and adding add oil to fire is that this semester is just 60 days long, so we have to suffer with Xtra stress and pressure to handle examinations, plus the fact that some of us are taking more then 3 subjects, and all are super heavy subjects, HELP, I need space to breathe…!!!

But looking at the not-so-bad side of it, examination is one way to gauge students performance, and according to the Education Minister of Malaysia, he said that PMR and UPSR examination for lower education level may be scrapped. Well, in my opinion, it should remain as it is, as it will improve the literate level of younger generation in our country. I echoed the sentiment of the Former Prime Minister, that he aspire to make Malaysia a develop nation by the year 2020, so which means we as future leaders should buck up our studies, and to be a step ahead then any other people of the world. This is not easy to achieve for sure, but with the 23 million populations in Malaysia, nothing is impossible….

I just finished one exam on Monday, and waiting for another 3 more to come. The paper on Monday was an easy paper( for some people, yes, but definitely not ok for me). I nearly went blank during the exam, cause of lack of sleep ii guess, and plus the fact I was not feeling well that day. Slept the whole afternoon and woke up 2 hours before test, by then my head was still spinning. Hopefully I will be able to pass the test.

Well, I just want to wish all those readers of my blog ( if you are having some kind of examination ), All The Best, and do score well as to not make your future bleak…….Best wishes from me to you….:)

Without You

Without You
There can be no joy in living
For all of the things that I am doing
It is you that keeps me going

Without you
There won’t be fun anymore
Because you are the joy and more
Things look blurry and appalled

Without you
Life is boring
Without your laughter and singing
This can’t be life, don’t you think

Without you
I will not have known the truth
I would have live life the way I wish and could
And that life never can be good

Without you
I can’t go on
I wont be strong
I will be gone……

Blessed

Lord you have been so great
For all that you have done
For me personally to take
All the joy and have fun

In times of sorrow and despair
You are the one who lead me
Your greatness and love no one can compare
In you O Lord, I will not grow weary

Of all thee things you have done for me
Words cant express how much I thank you
With so much to give and never stingy
O Lord, I am so blessed that I know you

Forgive me of my iniquities
And all the grief’s I have brought
Lord, you know of my worries
And will never bring me to drought

I feel so blessed in your presence
You are my light and my refuge
Being so worthy that I have even question
Forgive me for not showing my gratitude

O Lord, I just want to thank you
For you have bless me with so much
Some I am not even worthy to receive
Thank You Lord, I am Blessed…..

In-Fest 2004

What seemed to be a blurry and boring Saturday turn up to be a super duper, fun-filled and power-packed day for me. I started of my day by saying

“Oh man, I am not going back home this week, so what shall I do?”

Eventually, me and my house mates started to be hooked up to games, that we played Diablo2 the whole day ever since the time we woke up(around 9.30AM). it’s the usual hack-and-slash game, where you go around killing monsters, picking up items, and also to level up(that’s te main idea of the game anyway). We played and played until I finally got bored of it at that moment (What?? Jowen actually got bored of Diablo? The sun will rise in the North, and sets in the south) I quit the game, and resume chatting in Yahoo Messenger. I was looking at people’s status message when I came across this.

“In-Fest 2004, 8PM, The Summit Hotel, ADMISSION IS FREE!!! Come Come Come….”

Honestly when I saw this status by one of my friends, I went like “ Oh, just another musical event, nothing big, just some rock star concert”. I brushed myself of the thought of actually going there to see. But something soft spoke to me, and urges me to go for it. ( this is not an illusion, I got the feeling to go). I messaged one of my buddy, WeeLiem, for transport, and he said his car was full.

Oh man, car full = cannot go…I was disappointed at that time, and told him to enjoy the show and whatever the concert that is. Seriously I was down and sad that I couldn’t go for the event, and like every other people who is feeling disappointed, I loaded up the game, Diablo2, and fire it off with my housemates again.

Something strange happened. As I was happily killing monsters and shouting to my housemates to back me up, my phone rang.

“Hello”

“yea, Jowen, WeeLiem here. Leo will be driving to In-Fest, and faster let him know that you want to go too”

“OH…ok…Thanks ya”

Hallelujah, I can go!! I can go for In-Fest at last!!! Thank God….in a split second, I ended my game, which leave my housemate wondering why I quit, and rang up Leo.

“HI Leo, I was wondering if I can hitch a ride with you to In-Fest later”

“sure dude, meet me at …….”

YEA!!!!! I got dressed in “0 minutes, and walked my way to the meeting point. Never in my heart I felt so much of joy before, and I was singing praises to my Lord as I made my way there. We left Cyberjaya around 6.40PM, and headed off for dinner somewhere in Puchong. It was a pretty cool ride with Leo in his kancil, as he drove with the skills of Michael Schumacher, minus the red F1 car, and the 380Kph. We chatted, and I got to know him well that night. I shared, he shared, and of course by the end of the day, I got to know this brother a lot more now, and also I got to know myself too…we stopped by at “Restoran Ramai”, and I had Quey-Teow-Soup for dinner. At 7.50PM, we headed off to The summit Hotel, for In-Fest.

Upon reaching the place, I sense a feeling that I am going to like this event, though I didn’t expect anything more to a concert of blaring music, and funky costume adorned by artists. We reached there as the show was about to bagan, and I got a rude hshock when one of my church members came up to me and say

“Whassupppp Jowen, Long time no see…..”

I was blown away, and at the same instance, several church members came up to me and greeted me. WOW…the feeling of being united again with friends whom I have not seen for a while, is so homey and nice. I( FYI, I have not been going back PJ, and at such, I missed my home-church service. I came from Good Shepherd AOG) about 20 of them came, and they were Jesse, Shama, Sheema, Catherine J, Catherine T, Lyna, Jennifer, Samson, Vedadas, Simon, Sanjay, Andrew T, Richie and Ashwin. It was more like a reunion rather then seeing In-Fest itself.

I took my place at the calling of the MC, and I began to like the show even though it had not even started yet. The show started at 8.35, and the first band that came up on stage was “A-basher” (forgive me if I misspelled the name), led by Jason Ding. The MC sort of like joke with Jason, and said that his sir name reminds him of the song by Hooobastank “The Reason”, where the intro part goes something like “Ding…Ding…Ding….I’m a….” the crowd Laugh AT THIS comment, and the MC rushed off to asked them whether are they ready. They were set to perform, nd I got to hear what seemed like a rock concert. Jasons own composition was sung that night, and it was cool, and inspirational., Cheers form the audiences whows how well was the songs that were sung, and the band sung and performed about 4 songs. The second band who performed that night was called “ Her Reverie” and it’s a all girls band, except for the bass guitar player and the guitarist. The guitarist, with the name of “Keng” really was superb when it comes to effects pedal, and the whole performance by their band was spiced up by the various effects done by him, and they sang around 4 songs also. . I couldn’t help but watched in amazement at the magical sound that the pedal does, and it left the crowd cheering and clapping as they ended their performance.

We adjourned for a 15 minutes refreshment, and I seized this opportunity to talk to my church members. All were well, and of course, the feeling of church-sick suddenly came upon me, as we chat about services and also of the activities the church is organizing. It was indeed a joyous moment, as I got to meet them again after 2 months of not seeing each other, and of course, int hat very short time of break, we managed to get contacts and if it was not for the call to be back in our seats for the next show, I would have been talking and talking and talking and ………The third performance was a splendid one. A Malaysian well known artist, a solo and dual performer who sang for various events took on stage to mesmerized us with her powerful vocals and wonderful talents. She is none other the Shelly Leong. I hve heard of her several times and have seen her appearance on TV, but today I saw her face to face, and I am flattered….Hehehhehe, I must admit that I didn’t really know her, but her voice fascinates me. Her voice projection was so strong, that she kept me glued to my seat throughout her performance. And also backed by her band of 3 members, a drummer, bass player and a guitarist, the performance was nice and rocking. …throughout my time spend there on the Summit hotel, I felt no regrets at all for coming, and all the tiredness were swept away by the powerful aura of music, and I really want to say thank you to my friends who heard of my plea to came for In-Fest.

The forth and final performance of the night, was none other then The GoodShepherd band, which consist of Ashwin on drums, Sanjay on guitar, Sheema on keyboard, Samson and Shama on vocals, and Mozart on Bass( Ok, he switched from piano to bass, cause piano is too heavy to carry around :P). The first performance of the band was and instrumental, a havy one that is. Electrifying waves of the electric guitar was sent out by Sanjay, and powerful bass was produced by Mozart, plus heart thumping beat was cranked by Ashwin, and also as a add on to the already spiced up groovy music, is the sound of keyboard played by Sheema. Add them all together, and you get a sound that will sent u shouting “We Want More, We Want More”. Even those who are music blind will be guaranteed know what is real music, after hearing what seemed to be the best performance of the night. The second performance by the band was a rendition of the song “Higher” by Creed, and is another explosive song which featured Samson and Shama. Powerful sound waves were produced by Samson, as he took on singing most of the parts for the song, and I can imagine if I were to sing at the same pitch and tune that he is singing, I am afraid my vocal chords will break, that’s how strong his voice are. Shame did well, and he sang what seemed to be the bassy part of the song. The duet by them was so good and power, that at the end the performance, shouts of “Samson” were heard from the audience, and it’s by me, Hahahahhahhahaa……….

The third performance is a song Shackles, and it featured an extra vocalist, which is Sheema..This song was the band’s favorite when they go out to perform in gigs and in concerts. They managed to get the audience to wave their hands during the chorus part, but subsequently no one did that again for the remaining parts, because the hands were literally concentrating to the music, and the voices. Powerful vocals and explosive music were the main focus of the band, and it is what all the audience expectation of a good music. That is what In-Fest is all about, and it really lives up to the audiences’ expectation.

The forth performance was a truly heavenly music, which can only be played by professionals. It’s an own composition of the band members themselves, given the song title as “Heartbeat.” Well, it really keeps our hearts beating at maximum beats-per-minute, some even at it's maximum, with explosive music and sound from the 3 musical instruments filled the room. Shock waves of various instruments were sent out, and all of us were stunned and glued to our seat, like the F1 car racers when they go racing at breakneck speed, at 550Kph. It was that super cool music, which leads the audience to groove along with the music, me especially, was moving my head from top to bottom, and from left to right, like someone who is High on ecstasy. A couple of us gave a standing ovation as soon as they finished their stuffs, and of course, some were literally glued to their seats by the awesome performance by them. Shouts of “En-Core” were heard from the audience (not by me this time), and amazingly, the band members responded to the calls, and invited to director for IN-Fest2004, Mr. Gary to jammed alongside with them. It was yet another super explosive show, with 2 identical bass guitars, and 2 not-identical players performing together. The bass waves could even drown an elephant in shallow waters, and can even burst any amplifiers. But it is a miracle the amplifiers didn’t explode, but it is the heart of the audience that is exploding. Waves after waves of nuclear music were sent out, attacking each and every corner of the body. One couldn’t be surprised to find out that the whole body was an eat that night, trying to enjoy every nano-second of the show. 2 bass players performing together at one time on stage. That’s something I’ve heard for the very first time, and the sound is really deafening, and it’s AWESOME!!!!!!!! Soon all of us got deaf while hearing the explosion of music, and gave a standing ovation to The GoodShepherd Band. It was really an eye-opener to those music freaks out there, who thought they have heard everything about music, as after the shows, several people were seen asking for music lessons from them.

Every band gave their best and every musician is a winner. Pastor Kenneth gave out souvenirs to all performing bands at the end of the concert, and the show ended at 12AM. It was indeed an power-packed, fun-filled, nuclear-driven, and explosive concert one could ever attend, and it was a night of remembrance for me, , as I got to meet with Mr Andrew Tan, one of the Malaysian Idol top 4 finalists. He was there the whole night for the concert, and WOW, he’s handsome and cute…J Hahahahaha……I know I shouldn’t have said that, but anyway, we went for supper at some mamak stall in Subang, and call it a day at 2,.30am, as we headed back to our cozy home to take a rest.

I was indeed a wonderful experience for me, and was really amazed at Christian genre of music. It changed my perception of music altogether, and was truly amazed at what music could be. I really want to acknowledge a few people here, whom I looked up to because of this show, Wee Liem, who is sensitive to my need to go for the event, Leo, who is also willing to fetch me to this event, without him, I couldn’t have experience the explosion of music in The Summit. My church members, who have been a great help in boosting up my confidence in life, and had supported me all the way, and also to all CF members, who attended the event, who has been so much of a help, who I can talk too, I can shared with, and whom I can find comfort within. Thank You God for giving me all this things to give thanks for…..:)

Trust

When I was a little boy
Everything around seemed to be a toy
Which I could hold on and play with
Without knowing any of the risk

I always had this thought
That I can trust in you a lot
Until the day I find that it is not
the way I used to have my thought

Throughout the years I had lived
I have been always learning to give
What I have deep down from my heart
Because of the trust that I have so much

Circumstances will have to be faced
Because of the decisions I have made
Some seemed bad, and some seemed good
Some really put me in hot soup

I have always wanting to trust
But it always ends up in a frust
May be I’m just trying to have fun
So my feelings are always on the run
In search of the things that I really want

Without You that I could trust
I can’t imagine if I were to bust
Of all the problems that I am facing
You are the one that keeps me going

For all the things I have done
Brokenness and sadness lingers around me at least once
I tried putting all these things behind
And leaving it for the great divine

I really want to thank you
For the trust that I have in you
Things seemed blurry without you
But I learned to trust more in you
